HYDRANGEA QUERCIFOLIA ‘SNOWFLAKE'
New for summer 2011 is the double flowering Oakleaf Hydrangea ‘Snowflake'. We have just released our crop of beautiful one gallon plants for your enjoyment. For those of you unfamiliar with this variety, there are some wonderful characteristics that set this plant apart from a typical Oakleaf Hydrangea.
Mature height is between 6 and 8 feet with a graceful arching habit. It is perfect for a shady corner planting that can sprawl into a walkway for a closer view of the gorgeous double blooms. Each bloom can get as long as 12-15” starting around the beginning of June and persisting throughout most of the summer fading to a rosy pink toward the season's end. In the fall, the show continues with the large leaves turning a beautiful, deep red tone.
Our first ever crop of PAEONIES are looking GREAT!!! We chose three varieties that will take our hot, southern summers in stride:
Festiva Maxima - a beautiful, white double bloomer with occasional crimson flecks of color that has a wonderful fragrance.

|
Karl Rosenfeld - deep wine-red blooms with a yellow center and a rich fragrance.

They are just starting to bud up--and will surely put on a showstopping performance in the next several weeks!
|
Sarah Bernhardt - Large, light pink, double blooms that is also fragrant!
